You can shape Foothills Future:
The Foothills Foundation of Foothills United Methodist Church, was established for the purpose of encouraging members and friends to practice Christian stewardship of their accumulated resources in thanks to God for His good gifts . The Foundation provides members and friends opportunities to make charitable long term / lasting gifts to Foothills Church that will become a living legacy of financial support and a memorial.
Funds from the Foothills Foundation will be made available each year based on a restrictive spending policy and are intended primarily for purposes outside those funded through the annual operating budget of Foothills Church and the regular giving of its members. In particular, the Foundation will provide:
- Research and seed money for new ministries
- Christian discipleship and stewardship programs
- Funding beyond annual budget for mission in and beyond local community
The Foundation is a separate ministry under the governance of Foothills United Methodist church and its nonprofit status. It is overseen by 5 to 9 elected members who consult with the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee of the church for guidance, coordination and oversight
